Ok

When I get locked on for more than one second, I release my flares, right?

But most of the time I still get hit.. I mean wtf? How do the missles not go for the flares instead of me?

It's pissing me off because, when THEY release flares, my missles always go for the flares..

How do they hit me when ive released my flares?

The flares were innaffective and the AA was still locked onto you.

You can still be hit after flares are deployed, as you know.

You can't just deploy and forget. You have to evade the missles as well.

I do try to evade them, but I cant D: whatever I do I get hit.. I try flying up (with the jet) and doing a flip
that doesnt work, I try flying around trying to find whos locked on to me, even if I do find them I wont kill them..

also, with helis, I cant do anything to dodge missles with them..

Okay, heres some tips. Flips aren't that good do dodge, you can still be followed, quite easily actually. You need to pull hard right or left, lower to the ground. 1 of 2 things will happen here. Either 1) The missle will not be able to keep up with you and will travel straight, or 2) the missle will catch the heat signature of another vehicle, keeping the "heat" off you.

As for choppers, move low and fast. Bob and weave and again, pull hard turns left or right. Thats all I can tell you.

Side note: Flips do help there, if you have the altitude.

or 3) you'll crash and prevent the AA getting the kill. and providing amusing entertainment for anyone watching.

What jet are you flying? Anything will hit the F35b. If a bird sees it even that will somehow bring it down .

Perhaps the enemy has fired his/her missiles at you already? If you get the louder and more brassy warning tone, deploying flares will do absolutely nothing. If someone has a lock on you, drop flares and turn. It'll give you enough time to leave the enemy's lock on as his/her lock on should be on the flares. There's no problem with the flares, they work like they should work.
