We haven't talked about the "infantry only" option in 1.4 yet, but we will, once the patch is out.
Personally, I'd like to keep the setup as it is, with all vehicles. If I want infantry, I play CS Source...
With the current version of BF2cc you can't do this. But, here it comes;captain-a wrote:

One of my clan mates is head-something-something-programmer at BF2cc and they are currently finishing
a new, build from scratch, version. He asked me and some other clan mates what they would like to be improved so I'll bring it up to him (never actually tought of this captain-a, nice one ).
I agree that a one-night trial could be fun. The thing is, people will want to try out the new things in the patch. i would expect a lot of servers will be running heavy jalalabad rotations, and it would make sense to have it first map for a week or so.superfly_cox wrote:

I was thinking about trying it out as well. Maybe just see if the guys like it, if they do, maybe we could do weekly thing or summit. I dont think its a good idea at all to get rid of the vehicles in the normal cycle tho.superfly_cox wrote:
