They've been beta testing it for a god damn month now. How long does it take to beta test a patch? Especially since the most needed feature of said patch is a fix for the desktop crashes?

Seriously, it seems like they're offering Road to Jalalalalalabad as an apology. But that apology seems comparable to that of the guy who gives his wife a black eye, then rather than sitting her down for a heart-to-heart, tells her (for over a month) that he'll "buy her flowers or something," saves money for a month, and buys her a cubic zirconium necklace instead. Meanwhile she's telling everyone she fell down some stairs and dealing with the fact that she's trapped in a relationship with an abusive asshole.

So I'm asking: where the hell is 1.4?

It'll be out soon, I'm hoping tommorrow, as it would explain the EA server slowness yesterday (more then the usual weekend slow down), coupled with the fact EA always tend to release on a tuesday.
But for all I know it could be being released next year, ya never know.

So idont think it will fix the problems....we should go back to 1.21 or whatever was before 1.3

How can you compare again to domestic abuse ffs? From what I hear there are a lot of problems with this infantry mode (my friend who is beta testing) was spaming e-mails to ea asking for a vehicle but with no guns. Apparantly even with x2 sprint it's very frustrating, I can see why, do you want to run all the way across FuShe just to get nailed buy a claymore

Maybe we should make a list of what we really want in the game.

For the most part I think its fine just a few changes

1.Allow clays/c4 to be picked up and moved or disposed of (e.g engini clearing clays on karkand etc)
2.More points for engineer's (support and medics can whore points np, the engineer's work harder and get less)
3.Revise the transport heli's.
4.Jet imbalance
5.Give the Uss essex aa apc like armour

Something along those lines, my top 5 anyway

As anxious as I am, I have to agree. Better they take their time and iron out the bugs than release it too soon and have something worse than 1.3. On the bright side, open beta means more testers. More testers means more bugs found and fixed.
