I'm still a bit doubtful about this announcement. There is still no news anywhere but the Spain site, though something was posted in the announcement thread on the UK messageboard at 2.45 yesterday, but it has been removed. I suspect that EA intended to release this patch news yesterday, but theres been a delay, and the Spain site hasnt removed the announcement from their board. All im saying is, dont count your chickens.

Well, BF 2142 has the same fucking movement like BF2 after 1.4 so why play BF2142?

I think it was an elaborate plan, the ctd was put in there delibertly in order to put off the little kids playing during the summer, and put em off 2142 since theres gonna be a taunt in it (i.e some really gay sweedish tea bag thing).

I only hope that it will fix the server stability problems, if it does that then they could never release another patch and I would not complain. Vehicle drops and squad spawn changes were not that big enough of a issue to me to be willing to deal with the crashing it caused the servers to experience. I don't really much care about somebody diving to the ground and killing me or cartilary (what ever the fuck this is), I am only looking for one thing and that is to be able to play on a server without loosing connection or the server crashing in the middle of the game. I thought the vehicle drop was a neat addin but could care less about people switching squad leaders cause they died. The only thing I don't like is poeple who cheat and use hacks or otherwise find ways to sircomvent the game play from how it was intended to be played. To me cheaters make it no fun for the other players anything they achive by cheating is meaningless since they couldn't have gotten it otherwise. It is like stealing a ferrari ver. buying one. When you buy it, you own it, you can take pride in what you had to do to get it & no one can take that away from you. Stealing it though, it never is really yours and it is only a matter of time til you loose it leaving you back were you were before you stole it, a punk ass bitch with nothing who will never be anything cause your to lazy to put forth the effort required to not be anything more than a waste of good oxygen. Anyone who beats you by cheating is actually paying you a complement, they're basically telling you that you are better then them, enough so they must cheat to reach your level of skills and all you'd have to do is cheat just like them and they're right back to being your bicth again.
