Recently after patch 1.12, i noticed loading times have increase dramatically about 2 minutes when i usally load in about 1 min. When i join a server, sometimes it just hangs there and it spits me back to desktop. This is very annoying. Am i the only one with this problem?

Load times are fine for me. The two RAID 0 7200 hard drives probably helps. I too am crashing to the desktop. It only happens after about 4-5 hours of play.
By the time the Loading and "verifying client data" is done then I'm already dead or dying...
I seem to be getting the optimizing graphics thingy at the start of every map change since the 1.12.
I used to wait ages for the maps to load but I doubled my RAM to 2gigs and its a lot faster now. I might go up to 4gigs, is that just being greedy?
