lol, that should help most people.  LEARN!

And don't go in knife/pistol servers cause that breaks the bf2 roe and you could get your stats reset.  it isn't likely to happen since so many people play on those servers but still, it would feel much cooler to get it the real way.

I got my expert knife and expert explosives on at 42 player strike server.  I basically just bunnyhopped and lied down on the ground a lot and went into huge crowds in small areas where it is hard for them to get me.  Make sure the server you go in is low ping so that you don't "hear the stab noise but don't get the kill".  Hiding around common corners is good and spawn camping always works.

who cares if he plays on k&p. he obviously made that account spersificly to play knife and pistol, because he enjoys it. i have a knife n pistol account myself and i'm sure that a lot of people who love to play this game type do too. i dont see any harm in it and i dont see it as stat padding. now if he was a high ranking player that got his points, badges and medals by playing on knife n pistol then i would agree that it was wrong.

if EA would get off their arses and make a knife and pistol mode like they have with infantry only, there wouldn't be a problem.

I don't give a shit who plays on what server, but Yank is talking about a real account not a padding/k&p account. Like i said your not going to learn anything by killing other people who are trying to kill u all with knives. skils are knifing a guy carrying a machine gun who never saw u coming.

i agree EA is pretty lazy, every time i filter maps for karkand theres atleast 1 k&p server on the list. i mean, how can they miss that for christ sakes.

Best places for me to get knife kills are Karkand and for some reason, Wake. Sharqi is hit or miss. On Wake you can get the tank/jet spawn whores really easy and hide quickly.

Find a spot that you know enemy infantry will pass by and find a spot to hide nearby.  The alleys in Karkand are usually a good spot, also sometimes squads head towards the suburbs on foot and go up on the mountainous kind of land on the left hand side of the map.  Find a spot to hide and then chase them down.  If they see you when you are close sprint at them running in a zig zag pattern and then jump and dive at them.  If that doesn't work then you are ususally screwed.  Good luck!

I said this in another post, but the strategy still works.

"Here is my strategy, and if you do it effectivley, you will have hundreds of knife kills.

Whenever in a combat situation, try to be descreet. What I mean by that is do not let the enemy see you. If you spot one, and he dosen't see you, this is your opportunity. If you think that you have at least 5 seconds to attack him without him knowing your position, pull out the knife and stab away.

...he obviously pads or cheats too: 27 kills per minute on average with the knife. You can't even get that close to people that fast most of the time.
