I just bought a pair of Sennheiser 595s with an X-Fi. Truly worth every penny.

J/k I found the pic in a modders forum awhile ago.

I use the 5.1 from turtlebeach. Best Headset I have owned. 4 speakers in each side, built nice.

(not reading after that post)
im getting that one too, after i borrowed it from someone, im in love no pain after 10 hours of gaming, VERY GOOD QUALITY.

also : to the first post: yeah, lets buy an usb headset, then we can still use our soundcards!

you would be better off buying the audigy 4 and a logitech gaming headset (as mentioned above)

I just got this headset and I love them!

They have 5.1 surround sound, EAX capabilities, and are really sensitive! They will help you locate every player and their exact location when they are in hearing range! This headset has improved my gaming dramatically, and if you are looking for a new one, you should definitely consider this one. They are also relatively cheap. For me, it was $88, then after the deadly taxes of Canada and the Shipping and Handling, it came to a total of $114.

This product can be found at ebay.com for most users, or tigerdirect.ca for Canadian users.

Well worth it.

EDIT:

I forgot to add, this headset is used with a USB connection. Therefore, it uses a driver CD to install its components, so you can have EAX (it is built into the headset) without getting a new sound card!
I just purchased that exact set.  I came across this thread searching any forum I can find for help getting them to work.  The sound is terrible, the Mic doesn't work, and to top it all off the driver made my old Mic not work at all.  Now I'm stuck with no Mic, crappy sound and the worst bit is that I paid $100 dollars to be screwed over like this!!!

I recommend anyone looking for surround headphones to avoid USB if at all possible.  I will be returning these and getting a quality set, that is unless someone has a solution?
