Anyone else having issues with this? I browsed the posts and didn't see anything similar to my problem, so here be a new one....
Game takes forever to connect and load, and even when it connects someone it seems to raise hell with my internet connection, pings spike, I'm choppy as hell (in a lag way, not in a too-high-graphics-setting way), and general SF become almost unplayable...Maps load in probably 3 times the amount of time they used to (I know how long it would take to connect in BF2 becasue it was always about the same spot in the loading music, so I could go take a quick break, and have a good idea of when to come back)...I'm aware that SF holds higher graphics requirements, but all of my favorites that I used to run completely smooth in BF2, I can now barely connect to. I thought it might just be the initial new game push on the servers causing the problem, but it happens to me in any server I attmept to play in. I've checked my cable, ran speedtest, scaned for viruses/spyware, task managered off all potentially problematic processes and programs, done a complete uninstall/reinstall of BF2, SF, and 1.12, and still am having severe trouble with it...Kinda stumped, kinda dissappointed, kinda wondering what the culprit could be...Any ideas / suggestions would be much appreciated...
SF in singleplayer runs great and all, but I'm really itching for some multi action...
