I hate the sights. Its probably just me, but I think they're difficult to aim with. Everything else about the weapon is great. GL, 'bangs, and plenty of ammo. Generally, I like the 2000.

why would you need the unlocks when you get an AK-101, AK-47, or an M16?
With the F2000 i hit either nothing with a whole clip or headshot after headshot.

Im gonna have to go with the RPK, its much more leet.
I still remember when I was new to the game I kept on getting killed by the F2000 and I thought "the first unlock i'm getting is the F2000". Didn't realise you needed SF to unlock it so I got tastes of it through picking up other people's kits. I remember one time I was on two bars of health, and made 2 consecutive headshots with it. It's not a big deal for many of you, but it is for me

For a month all i could play is single player,with the standard weapons.Now i'm so using unlocks all the time.

The F2000 had the best GL for "noobtoobing" as it has a faster draw speed and marginally faster reload time on the other GLs. plus: either team could use it, what with it being a second tier unlock.
face it.. the gun itself is rubbish.. so when the ability to jump and shoot (reducing splash damage at close range from nades) was removed after patch 1.12, the gun saw a decrease in usage overall..
its demise finally came with the complete nerfing of GLs where they added a 2 second fuse to the projectile..
or something like that

Personally, I don't like playing assault that much at all- but I have developed a love for the G3 (as everyone does at some point!). I have the F2000 unlocked, but I have never really got to grips with the gun. I like the design of the scope- but I always get waaay more kills with the extra GL than I do with the actual gun. It just seems to recoil far too much and, when in full-auto, splutter bullets everywhere with zero accuracy.
I'm still very much experimenting and getting to grips with the assault class, hoping to use it a lot more post-1.4 in infantry only situations. Assault is too much of a gimp class for me in full-gameplay with no means of getting easy teampoints, and the short-sprint.

Ill stick with an M16 or Ak-101 any day.
My order of preference:
1. AK-47
2. AK-101
3. M16A2
4. F2000
5. G3
I don't know why people say the G3 is good - it's powerful, but that doesn't matter if you can't hit shit with it. It's even less accurate than the 47 in my experience, and with a reduced number of rounds per clip, accuracy is important.

I unlocked it on the weekend, tried it on Sharqi...was appauled by it. Really innacurate and massive recoil from the scope. The bullets just didnt seem to go where I was firing the weapon. But funnily enough...I love the L85A1
But, for assault, its G3 or AK, maybe the M16A2 if im in the mood.

my absolute favorite is the M16 ... I just like to Pump bursts of deadly shit out of my weapon while im bunnyhopping like a moron...... plus its a little more accurate than the AK's and is one of the most accurate rifles on the battlefield when used in single shot

i fucking hate the F2000. it has gay recoil, wide bullet spread, and its innaccurate as fuck at long distances. I'll take my AK-47 or G3A3 any day.
F2000 is a decent weapon, but I still prefer the AK-101.

Personally I prefer the F2000 over the G3, but I still prefer the M-16 over any assault rifle.

It does get used, quite alot, sometimes not many people use it but then loads use it all at once and whore it.
It seems to be completely PATHETIC if not zoomed.
But I personally prefer the AK-47 (not for real life), just because of its stats, it is basically a G3 but 30 rounds and I feel more accurate.

I think unlocks are... kinda weird. Why include them if they are the same as regulars, just different?
My point is, most of the unlocks are weaker than the defaults, just "fancier" I would say.
