I cant play sharki, karkand, kubra, mashtur, dragon valley, or zatar wetlands. Everytime i try to join it says i need to revert to my unmodified version of BF2. I never modified it and i have the patch. wtf is any1 else getting this problem? how do i fix it?
Maybe you're trying to join an unpatched server. Try filtering for "same version."
I have that option on already and why is it that i get that message only on those maps? ill play wake on one server and when it switches to karkand, i get the message "revert to default version of BF2." It pisses me off when i cant play the maps that i rack up the kills on.
This might sound like a really basic answer but it helped my game performance considerably. Defrag, defrag, defrag. Although it looks like SF is a seperate game it is not. Installing the SF expansion pack and then the 1.12 patch can really spread your total game all over your hard drive. Once you defrag everything is nice and tight. Give it a shot, it can't hurt!
