....It's ability to provide moments of greatness.

By no means am I a good player (stats will confirm this). Don't get me wrong, I don't TK, spew nades everywhere or constantly spot AA on wake or boats on karkand.

Last night on Zatar it seemed the whole of both teams were stoushing over the centre cp for the chopper spawn. My squad were dropping in via a blackhawk from a long way up. As I (anti-tank) was floating down spotting random enemy assets below me I thought it a good time to screw up my accuracy with AT. Seeing an enemy attack chopper far below I line him up and guide the rocket in for a hit of all things and a couple of kills (hell, I normally can't hit them from the ground). Reload, get a bead on a TOW taking potshots at our armor. Same deal, direct hit for another kill and a thanks from a tank driver team-mate. By this time I am close to landing so manouvre towards an enemy sniper, drop behind him and introduce him to my DAO (I figured all my luck was used up so didn't even try for the knife). Managed to take down 2 more infantry before being smoked by a tank.

Now this kinda sequence of events may just be another day in the life of alot of you super players out there, but I spent my 15 seconds spawn time thinking: "Wow, that was great, maybe I will eventually get better at this game."

As a mediocre player, something like this is great incentive to keep playing the game and not get discouraged by the constant deaths. Thanks to DICE (apart from their patch playtesters) for providing a game where it can still be fun when you suck at it.
