I can load up my bf2 but after about ten seconds the game crashes back to the desktop.
Maybe set the graphics to low. Your computer might not be able to handle the current video settings, but if that doesn't work, I don't know.
Post you PC specs - all hardware - often this kind of problem is down to the hardware - for example I vaguely recall some dual-core processors can cause this kind of issue if you don't enable/disable/adjust a certain setting (Sorry, not sure of the details - I'm still on single core).
Does it hapens all the time? Than lower ur setting or Re-install
I have a dual-core system, try setting the CPU affinity to just the one processor and see what happens, I use a batch file and runfirst.exe to do that automatically
