Yes they count, as for the C4, no idea.  Would assume so though.

Arty killz count for AD and GD but thats a really lame way to do it imo. Arty killz don't count for c4 explosives kill for the badges. This has been asked b4.

From what I have noticed, yes, if you're in a vehicle/emplacement, you get points/kills as using that item, and you cut down on time needed on that vehicle too The bad part though, is usually if you do get in a vehicle, you're team may need it, and will be pissed to see you're using it for your own benefits, and not the team. As for weapons/equipment, no; I tried hanging out the blackhawk with a claymore on Oman and you dont get kills for that weapon.

You want your ordinance badge? You can get vet if you are commander and camp shari US tower. Just have someone give you ammo or have a crate land at the balcony to keep you going. Just claymore the crap out of the stairwell and keep an i on the ladder. FYI, you can only keep 2 claymores out at a time.

Arty kills will work for air defence as well as ground defence badges possibly ribbons. They may also possibly count as tank kills while sitting in a tank. ( think you have to be the driver) Dont know about the ducking thing. Also they wont do anything prob for your c4 stats. Just forget c4 as a way of getting the explosives badge and be a clay whore like everyone else. Drop by Karkand and pwnerize the hotel or maybe the TV station in Warlord. Thats the easy way to get the kills for expert explosives.

Sure you can lame it out and be part of the gaymores spam girlscouts. You can also choose to become one with your C4 and  AT mines and learn how to be a real asset to your team and a force to be recognized by your enemy.  Limit yourself to only using C4 and AT mines  in  a game and see how much fun it is. Of course you will not be making any friends with youyr  enemies armor wh0res but who the fook cares. They are out to blow you to kingdom come so send them there first.
