I haven't been able to confirm this but I suspect that it’s the case.

For the Vet Command Badge & the Commander Ribbon, is it true that the time requirements (i.e. commander for 25 minutes) is reset whenever you die?

I’ve been commander for extended periods several times, and the only reason I can see why I haven’t gotten the badge/ribbon is that I’m killed about every 15 minutes or so. (I actively defend/repair my equipment while I’m commander).

What do you think?

thats strange. i die all the time while trying to get "IAR" times. it shouldnt make a difference or not wether you die. Make sure you are playing for the full 25 minutes because sometimes it feels like you've been playing for hours when its only been 10 minutes.

Nope, doesn't matter if you die. Just rack up those time requirements in one round, and you're good to go.

thatd be rough if it reset.  imagine those expert badges...like 40 kills IAR without dying...my highest kill streak right now is 37 and i thought that was pretty good.

but cmdwedge is correct.  it does not reset.  what you might find helpful is looking at a watch or clock before you start...i know theres been times ive played for ten minutes and was absolutely positive it had been about half an hour.  i was shocked when i found out a couple weeks ago i had yet to spend 20 minutes in armor, 15 minutes in an airplane, and 15 minutes in a helo...got right on those and got my ribbons.

I had the same problem, it seems you have to make one kill (not with ART) to make it register :s After the time where you should have had the bagde.
