Identifying Team Members In Need ?

Hi All,

I am reasonably new to BF2 and obviously having a ball with it.

But there is one thing frustrates me, I generally go in as Support and I am having trouble identifying on the radar who are the team members calling out for ammo.

I am assuming they can be identified ?

pssshh thats whats n00bs do, just run up to everyone and spam a few ammo bags at them

Easiest way is to drop supply packs in passageways and around choke points, it's not the best way but it is a brilliant way to keep your team mates happy, although people will say that you're lazy and all, but it's a very useful technique.

If a person has threw one grenade or has reloaded once, or is missing any tiny bit of things, they have a red think outline around there arrow on ure minimap, so goes with medic, even if they are just 1 bar down

yep, if they have red circle around them on the minimap, they can use a bag of ammo (usually, this doesn't always work for some reason), if they really ASK for ammo, their little circle changes into the supply sign.

medic is the same except for a medic symbol when they call: I need a medic. A red dark circle with a lightning bolt in it means they are dead but can still be revived.

after some playing ull know the hot spots on the different maps! spray ur ammo there ull get our love!

something important: lets say u play karkand and u see a single ANTITANK soldier who's attacking the US Tank / APC.... stay @ him and give him ammo!
when i was working on expert AT sold only very few supporters had the brain to recognize that the AT class needs most ammo!

Close, but you're wrong ... a sniper trying to get expert explosives needs the most ammo.
