Right, seeing as i am 15 i really have no direct control over the rules of my house. So, we have this rule which states (its not written anywhere for the record, im just putting it like this): "Thou shalth not buy games or toys for thyself in the months of november and december because of Christmas you Foo"

So, is it worth asking for the rule to be lifted once of Special Forces, or should I just wait until christmas??

Thanks for and replies

Christmas is just around the corner... It just depends on whether you can wait . Here in the UK, the SF cost around £13.00... now I know to some that might be a lot and to others, not much, but factor in: will you have enough money for Christmas pressies, will it be selfish if you do buy it for yourself ...  feeling guilty yet (joking) . Or do as most have done, buy it now and enjoy it now... only you can decide

Just wait.. maybe after x-mas they'll have patched it again.   Hopefully it will be running smoother.

For me, a game is too little for a Christmas present seeing that I can just go out to the shop and buy myself one. I prefer long-term investments for Xmas presents.

In short, get it now if you want it, and get something 'bigger' (like an xbox 360 or something) for Christmas.

The answer depends on two things mainly.

1. How much you play the game
2. If your one of the unlucky people who are effected by some of the bugs.

If you play a decent amount or more and don't get the bugs like me then it is great especially with the added beenfit of usiing sf unlocks in BF2 normal.

It's great i think well worth getting it early. but everyones tastes are different.

I would say it would depend on how long your Xmas break is. If you want to play SF throughout the entire break then get it now. If you think you can wait for it and only play through the break after Xmas then wait for it and hope you get it. I would say get it now, don't put it on your Xmas list and instead put something else on there like a new joystick or a nice headset or something you could use in conjunction with BF2:SF. Though I would check to see if someone else got it for you already. Having two copies of the game won't do you much good.
