I have buy the game one year ago. The cd has passed away. All i had to do is to buy a copy this time and reinstall it with the buyed cd key.
The message is "insert  the correct Play Disk...".
I sayd Ok and unistall the game.
I tested again with an original one this time and the problem still remain. :<

This may seem stupid but:

Do you have a CD/ DVD drive
Is it a CD or DVD?
Did you put it in the correct CD or DVD?

srry didn't read it correctly. Thats weird, the original one didn't work. Hmmm, well I know how it feels when you have a problem with BF2 and you're waiting for help. So i'll try to help as much as i can. Now this is what I think you're saying, correct me if i'm wrong:

Your original CD is ruined so you bought a new BF2 CD
You used that BF2 CD but with the old CD-Key
This problem came up
You uninstalled
You reinstalled with the original CD (but i thought it was ruined?)

I bought a copy. Not the original.

I tested with another original cd. Not with the first one.

well, basicly it's not your cd key that's wrong, your copy is not totally a copy from the original cd (there is a security on the normal cd that can't be copied to the other cd, which identifies the normal cd's from the copied ones, to prevent people copying it instead of buying)
so if you want it to work, you need a no-cd-crack (or no-dvd-crack if you used to have a dvd). I'm not sure if that's allowed... but as you bought the original... anyway that should do it.

If you go and download www.bittorrent.com then go to www.torrentspy.com and seacrh battlefield 2 with no cd crack download it.
Then go download daemontools the newest version and it will work

I dont think this is the problem.
I borrow a original cd  from a friend so i can test it.
The result was the same as before.

Not sure I completely understand what you mean by 'bought a copy'. anyway, the problem is your original CD-key will ONLY work with that actual CD. Your  friends CD would have its own CD-Key, and so wouldnt work with yours, same for any copy. Best solution? Buy another original CD, install that with its CD-Key, and away you go.

Thanks for advices.

"bought a copy" means a non original cd from some illegal game store.

When i try to play with my friends cd, i put the cd key of that cd. Not mine.  And the message was still the same.

I'll try with the SF.

Thank you all anyway.

it shouldnt matter what cd you use as long as its an original one. me and my buddy stole a cdkey out of the box and bought a copy of the game at the same time so we have 2 cdkeys and 1 disc. the disc works for both cd keys. dont know if this helps.

If you are using the CD's that came with the original, there are 3. Make sure that you put them in the proper order or else you will get that same error message. I hope this helps.

Since he has a cd key... assuming it's legit... can't he contact EA and DL a copy from them or something?
For some reason, I remember hearing about something like that. I could be very wrong though.

Good luck. Go buy the game again or for your first time. (who knows)
