Has any1 coordinated with a commander an jumped into a vehicle drop in midair (from a high tower or a helo)? What would it do?
I've done it/seen it done when the vehicle was a few meters from the ground, it just drops like a normal vehicle (usually killing you)
Well, I've not managed to enter a dropped vehicle in "high orbit". But I have managed to jump from a low building into a dropping car. Nothing happened, excpt that it rocks a bit and then I drive off. I would imagine that the same thing holds for entering a vehicle from a higher altitude.
Theres a screenshot somewhere around here of someone riding a truck in the chute on Warlord. He got in from the SAS midair spawn and parachuted into the truck as it was falling.

seems like the 'chute drops off the falling vehicle when I jump in midair, like when it hits an object (tree, building etc.) on the drop. usually resulting in my painful death.
