One of my buddies couldn't play the game last night. Gamespot said that the game had issues so my q is, is it Lag or is it bugs..............HELP

youre really going to have to give us a bit more detail than that. first off...gamespot? i dont see why a website would impair someones ability to play a game. i havent heard of a bug not allowing someone to play...and the only lag i know of that doesnt allow you to play is "you have lost connection to the server" and something like "you were unable to connect to the server.
since i dont really know any details about what happened...im just guessing at this. but is his game patched? the game should be version 1.12, which is not the fresh out of the box SF version. go to the battlefield website and download the new patch, then install it and everything should be up to date.
finally...this isnt in the right section. schussy, voodoo, trigger, chuy...whoever....want to move this to the 'help' section?

Sorry. First thing in the morning not concentrating. He's running 1.12 and I was wondering if it was jarring on screen cos of bugs or lag. Gamespot is a games review site!
Jarring is generally lag in my experience. Especially if it's accompanied by "there is a problem with your connection"
