I think SF was rushed into the stores before the holidays just to make a buck.

I just got it since I'm a nut about Battlefield, no real other reason...
SF is money grab pure and simple, it has massively unbalanced weapons, most of which give a distinct advantage over any of vanilla BF2 weapons. G36E = G36C + Laser Aimpoint Scope + Burst + Medic = Insane... might as well give the medic a supply kit, AT and the ability to call artillery as well.
well right now im enjoying bf2 cause big maps with squad mates. SF is growing on me cause i like zipping thru the air
I have SF brought but I haven't installed it, overall I still like classic BF2 maps but more infantry fighting could give me a better advantage in my not so ub3r|337 combat skills and abilities.
I nulled my vote, I am not really picking sides, I think both is ok. About the rushed xpasion thing. I think EA did rush it but they were able to patch some serious bugs up right during release. I know there are still bugs and such, they at least did a better job than LucasArts. Knights of the Old Republic 2 was rushed out to stores last Christmas and even to today, that game still has bugs after one weak patch and the worst storyline and action experience I have ever played in an RPG. They also cut out 25% extra gameplay and plot right at the last minute before release. Consider SF to be much better than KotOR 2.

Anyway, yes, we all know SF was rushed but I tell you what, I'd rather be playing it NOW in it's current state (which isn't that bad) than later. And I think BF2 is better simply because it doesn't just focus on infantry combat. I want my jets dammit! Karkand, Sharqi, and Mashtuur serve the infantry purpose, but I'd rather have variety and do something different every now and then.

bf2 by far - if EA is ever fixing the major laggs in SF i will play it - for now i leave it on my desk and dont put it in my computer again

BF2 is to me right now as thats the only version I have. Once I get BF:SF that will probably be "better".
bf2...run and gun is where it's at...had they spent more time making bf2 right instead of working on an expansion it would be a much better game and would have retained more players

SF is teh shit
am more of an ops man, bfore that i was cannon fodder. I think spec ops has its advantages, cool weapons and equipment, but bf2 has big maps.
So when i suddenly realised that u can ply on bf2 servers while on SF, i thought great, but i remembered getting asked if i wanted unlocks that i thouht were for Sf, wrong. In actual fact i had chosen SF weapons for bf2!!!!!! ya beautie!!!!

I don't care for SF at all. Basically, I spent $30 for a few new unlocks.
For people who like counterstrike and sexy infantry action (with new kinky toys), SF is probably better for them.
But I still like BF2 vanilla cause you still get more freedom and suits my style more, but the downside is that there will always be tank wh0res, jet wh0res and heli wh0res (maybe flash wh0res) that ruin the game.
