ok first off, i wouldnt know what search criteria to go under so here it is. I was playing on =SSE= squad server or something like that and i would get constant crappy fps. my ping was averaging 50 but i could hear my computer like humming to keep it up. does anyone know the reason?

mmm probably it was just their server lagging
if it keeps doing that, make try to play on low graphic settings (if you haven't done so yet), you might consider upgrading to 1 or 2 gb ram too although it isn't necessar.

If this fps issue happened only that day on that server, then it might have been routing issues on the internet. A ping is a small packet transfer and not always a good indication of the load on the internet. Bigger packets or continuous streams of packets might suffer more when the routers are loaded. Might als that your PC was running something in background, choking the proc and mem (ie. virusscan, or windows updates,...). Hard to tell. The config looks OK, allthough more mem can be considered.
