I keep getting kicked for this reason (look at picture)

I think I understand what it means, but why does it happen so often (in total 6 times now)
Its really annoying, does anybody know something I can do to stop this from happening???

download pbsetup (http://www.punkbuster.com/index.php?page=dl-bf2.php) and try to update it manually.

Also when you're in game, press tilde key ~,
type: pb_sleep 500
type: pb_writecfg

And make sure you don't block pb with your firewall and that no-one else in your area is using your internetconnection in a heavy way (downloading movies/music...)

I had that problem too, I downloaded the PB client on internet and then I updated the BF2 PB client in there, never got that error anymore.

no there is an easier way, you go to http://www.punkbuster.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php, you download pbsetup. Then go into the little pbsetup program, select BF2 and then click: check for updates. Make sure to put the pbsetup in the PB map of bf2 (like the one in your screenshot) Then it has been updated

Heres the link to do it manually http://websec.evenbalance.com/downloads … bsetup.exe . Simply run the program and install it, then select Battlefield 2 as a game and click check for updates.
