Ranked BF2 Server setup?

What is all required to setup a Ranked BF2 server?

I have a friend that wants to set one up but he's not sure what's all required. He has the server and the software, just need a little info / help.

I belive you can't get ranked server software. EA only gives the ranked sever software to trusted server prodivers so the system doesn't get hacked by people I think.
