If you are please post your machine specs and your performance under the Memory and Latency Benchmark.
I'm working with a friend who just built a machine around a Core Duo (E6700). My Prescott just made his chip look ugly. This can't be right ? I was overclocked at 13 percent and he was at 10 so I know its not apples to apples but still, he should have better numbers. We capped his at 10 for temp reasons .

Somethings up.. I remember reading that the non EE editions had a locked multiplier also.

The multiplier for the Front Side Bus is locked on non EE C2Ds, but there isn't a lock for the FSB/Memory ratio therefore i think your friend did the configuration of the memory in the BIOS wrong.

Tell him to look into his BIOS settings.
