If these badges really don't have a minimum playing time limit, do you think we'll see anyone just throwing FBs or shooting zip lines or chucking grappling hooks through entire maps, just to get these badges?

I reckon so, in fact I bet by this time next week, someone will already have the Expert Tactical Support badge (3000 flasbangs).

Lol, I know I did just to get the badges.  Only one I will get expert on anytime soon will be the zipline.

Yeah...when I first read the requirements for these, I just rolled my eyes.

Kinda like the airborne ribbon...whoop-te-do...

The first thing I did when I started the very first round of SF was throwing my four flashbangs into random directions, resupplyed and threw them away again to get that flashbang badge.
Since then I just used them when I thought it would be a good idea.

I got my tactical support badge using tear gas, wasn't even trying to get it..

But, I know for sure that I've deployed more than 10 ziplines, but I dont have the badge.  Why?

so the zipline and grapple badges require 10 uses in a round, not in total?

Yes.

To answer the original question, yes. This is exactly how I got my basic of these badges.

Yes...
The basic ones are just simple...Just like the ribbons/medals, they take time, not skill...

ok, so the veteran levels of the badges require a total and then probably a number of uses in a round as well?

Shit thanks for telling me i was getting pissed off because on the web site here it says that you need 10 uses of the zip line or grappel hook. It doesn't specify IAR. I was like WTF is going on so its only in round, thanks again americans

Yes for the flashbangs i think its a 1000 or something like that so you could just let flashbangs off in everyround for a day and no real skill, youd have your badge

The zip lines and grappling hook badges are insanely easy to get. For those of you that don't know, you can pick these objects back up after you've fired them. Pretty much fire the zip line, walk to the tripod, hold G and you will pick it up. Select it again and repeat process ten times for a shiney new badge. Same for grappling hooks. Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy.
