BF2S Forums weapon unlocks

well i got two unlocks and am on 6000 points, my mates who are the next rank up got 3 unlocks so it might be somthing like 2500 for first unlock then it just follows normal bf2?

I posted this in a diffrent thread, but I'll post it here as I'm still trying to figure out why this happened.

After playing my first SF map, I recived a single unlock, no rank increase, no medals. Now when I play a map, I recive nothing (aside from having just earned the grapple and zipline badges), so I'm wondering if my unlocks are bugged or what, any ideas?

General promotions, or SF promotions?

I believe that you get a SF unlock for every normal unlock you got in normal BF2, but I'm not sure.

Only if you already have the tier 1 unlocks.  I'm a 1st Sgt. and SF offered me a choice of 4 unlocks, and I had all tier 1 unlocks save for the DAO-12 so I chose 3 SF unlocks and the DAO and I didn't get another SF unlock after that. (yes I know there is no SF unlock for AT, thats not what I meant)

Here's how I'm pretty sure it works:

Lcp: 1 unlock
Cpl: 1 unlock (You can get a SF unlock here, provided you have got it's Tier one counterpart at Lance Cpl)
SGT and above: 2 unlocks(You can get 2 bf2, 2 SF, or one of each, yet again providing that for each SF unlock, you have its Tier 1 counterpart)

This means that when SF came out, people at SGT or above recieved the 2nd unlock they had missed. So a Sgt would get one unlock, a SSgt would get 2, and so on.

I could be wrong, if so, please correct me.
