My highest number of crash to desktops upon 'joining game' is 5. Just happened. Maybe I can get 6? or 10 even!? Well, the server is full now. Oh well.

lol i top all of you. i had around 25-30 dont remember. i wasted about an hour trying to play and just gave up.

I've had about 4, but I was using Windowblinds to change my desktop theme, which was causing the CTD since removed haven't had anymore.

I pretty much never get any CTD's when hitting join game. But I am constantly getting CTD's when attempting to launch into BF2. Sometimes restarting the computer resolves it, or I have to do a full reinstall :@

when i tried to get it to work on my widescreen i got about 8 or 9+ CTD in a row.

And before i got a widescreen the highest i got was about 3-4, sometimes when i clicked the join now button too quickly sometimes when i waited a sec before clicking it.

None recently though...may have been the servers i was trying to join?

1 way I found to reduce the CTD's, is if you have a AGP video card, set the speed from 8x to 4x in your SMARTGART tab in your video cards driver control panel. It seems to make your video card much more stable and can reduce heat as well.

Whats even worse than CTD when your loading, is when it happens when your actually playing the game. Like if your flying the chopper and then you CTD. I always wonder what my gunners thinking when that happens.

Mine just stopped today then came back like a minute later and we were crashed and I had respawned and the gunner was shouting at me

i got 8 consecutive crashes from a smokescreen server my friend was on. 5 crash to desktops, 2 blue screen of deaths, 1 corupt something or other.

apart from that run i have had practicly no other crashes

it was weird, most of the time euroforces and AF are fine
