If you can make it to the carrier unnoticed you'll have Chinese all over the carrier.
Steal all their equipment and then you can rape the carrier with 2 J-10s and 2 F-35B.
2. if you can´t rape the wake-carrier with the j10 and need two more jets, you are lame

I do it all the time in an attack chopper. I have over 205 hours in that thing, of which about 98-99% of it is piloting. I have gotten maybe a thousand or more caps that way. all you do is go to some obscure flag where nobody is fighting, have the gunner hop out, and you guys own the flag in about 20 seconds. it's a great way to get a flag behind enemy lines, where your guys can spawn at. sharqi it's more difficult because it is smaller and lots of ways to get blown to pieces there, but it can still be done if you keep the gunner in and you have some guys on the ground helping you..... dont forget to "dance" back and forth as i call it, never, ever, ever stay completely still in the chopper. you are asking for it.
capturing flags with an attack chopper should only be done on hard maps like wake, because like the name says: it is an ATTACK chopper. i only use them this way, when we have to breach the enemys siege.
flag captures should be only allowed to be made by soldiers... on foot... never with tanks, apc's, jet, helis or whatever vehicle you might be using... after all... you are changing a flag...Mj.Blindfisch wrote:

But on public servers mostly not everybody gets the idea and you hover and hover and nothing happens.
Btw,did you guys know that in BF1942 you could capture flags with a plane?
It was just flying a very tight circle over the flag.
Haven't tried that in BF2,but should be very difficult to pull off with these fast jets.
until I see the BH hovering and give it 3-4 secs of machinegun fire with grondmode, boom BH and the mobile spawnpoint is gone.tool03 wrote:
Do you consider it "BF ethical" or better yet a fair tactic to be the squad leader and use the BH fly up really high above flags so that squad members can spawn on you and jump to cap the flag?
I ask because I almost never see anyone do this, my guess is because people either 1. don't find the idea of sitting in a BH all round much fun or 2. people are point whores. Only upside to doing this I think is the time you could get for the heli badge and the wining of the round.
Not that is see high hovering BH's all the time but there are actually people that use that tactic, mosly a bunch of clanmembers with some 1337 teamwork
I baserape sometimes, not very often, and indeed it's an lame tactic.... as an experienced aviator i can say that it really takes no-skill to rape the carrier on wake. even a private can have "god-mode" with an j10 and get an gold medal... destroy the essex at the beginning of the round and here you go: free-bombing-massive-instant-kill-range all over the carrier.....[pt] KEIOS wrote:

I use this sometimes but usually it doesn't work that well.........
I use to see this tactic all the time. Not so much anymore. When I act as the Squadleader/pilot and plan on doing this tactic, First thing I do is make the Squad's name HALO, so you know what the squads about. It's also my favorite type of jumping in this game. Falling from 500ft and opening the 'chute right before you smack into the ground so know one really knows where you came from. I also keep the heli moving to different flag points to keep the other team from finding where I am too easily.
Unfortualy, I don't do this tactic much anymore because too people many want to be a attack chopper, jet, armor whore instead of strategy. Just imagine how good a game could go if the AH-10 actually protected and flew with the Blackhawk to provide cover & support and the jets kept the enemy jets busy.

If the enemy team is too lame/stupid to get out of their main base - they deserve attacks there.
2.That's just the best case scenario - getting both jets, but I don't think it actually happens.
But if somebody manages to sneak into your main base and steal one of your best fighting vehicles - you are lame
3.What's unfair about it?If you think that's unfair you should see some of the spawnkillers I have to deal with.
Fact about the high flying choppers with the squads jumping out is: The enemy team was unable to shoot down the chopper in the first place or even completely stops trying to eliminate it - they deserve to have enemy paratroopers assaulting their main base.

1. Wake Island is unbalanced as hell. If the J10-Pilot strikes quick until the Commander drops Artillery on the Carrier, the USMC will never set a foot on the ground. Not because of a lame USMC-Team, but because of fuckin Baserapers who often switch teams (Chinese only) and do not score, when they are not using imbalanced vehicles and maps.Mj.Blindfisch wrote:

2. You are still lame, when you need more Jets as Chinese on Wake...
3. Oh...those Spawnkillers were really bad to you on Karkand, so you have to baserape on Wake Island!?!
Be a man and switch to USMC on Wake....
As the word says. It is raping. Do you rape, when you get the possibility? Is raping the only way to score for you?
I caped a flag with a f35 earlier.
I have never been able to take on a flag on my own with a plane, but I have helped to neutralize or capture while in a plane by sheer luck. Done it twice on Wake and four or five times in AF maps.Mj.Blindfisch wrote:

You have been awarded +1 karma point.
And yes it has been posted many times (I posted about it last year hehe), but for some reason people don't adopt the technique. Mostly because they are point whores.
it isn´t statspadding, when the grenade-bombardement is intended, to clear the landing zone.
