I was just wondering what percentage of the BF2s community are on match squads. As for my own team, we play in TWL 5v5's and 8v8's as well as CAL 8v8.

I'm in NoFear gaming, formerly uQ.bf2, 1st in conquest on clanbase, 2nd in infantry (and challenging the #1), and 1st in the new jet league. we're also going to get a new sponsor soon and we're getting payed to go to i28 (lan event in the UK).

I do play some prize fight bf2 matches occasionally. Its basically you pay money to enter a match, and if your team wins, you share the money between your team. I dont like it too much, because you never know whether your going to get a complete bunch of idoits on your team.

Yeah in leagues. But mostly its 8v8 though and not 32v32.

my clan, =]-[f= (hostile faction) is competitive in TWL and CAL, along with scrims everyday. to me, there is no greater aspect to bf2 than clan matches. so much more teamwork and communication really adds another dimension to the game. if you ever join a clan and play in these matches, i'm sure you'll agree.

playing in pubs is as competitive as i get, plus you get more variety, and more strategies etc.
i imagine when you play in leagues, there are mostly the same strategies. But in pubs, you have 64 random players that all just are playing for kicks, and i think that's the most fun. Sure, you don't have the best teamwork, but you'd be surprised how much teamwork you can get if you just talk to them.
No, it takes too much out of my personal life. It also makes the game seem like a chore since you have to do it at a certain time. That and I mainly play for fun, I try not to get too competitive as I usually end up taking the competitiveness outside of the game even though I know I really shouldn't, it's a bad habit..

I imagine its no different in BF2. Stats could be fine.. matches even better.

I play competitively with [Bf.Nut], mostly in the local tournaments here in Singapore. We did take part in the BF2 World Tournament and finished in the Top 24 - last surviving Oceanic team
