Buy Auto i mean the Type 88 i think it is and the SVD, You can fire multipule shots of the rifle before you cock a nother bullet like you do in the M24, M95 & L96A1, hence why i called it a Auto rifleBolvisOculus wrote:

I know, i was just being a dick. I actually love the semi auto sniper rifles. Though its becasue i don't actually snipe, i play like i would any kit, and it can hold its own in reletivly close combat, even against a PKM.R3v4n wrote:

No. Unlocks can not be used during scrims so I don't use them, although I don't scrim in Battlefield 2 much. Just like the thread creator, I tend to be better with the stocks, and I like them more too. I hope in Battlefield 2142 unlocks will be well rounded for competitive play. It would add a whole new edge to the game.

i unlocked them... im damn sure gonna use them, why would they hate unlocks... they can use them too? if its "unfair" or "a pussies way out" then pwn them with your "1337 skills non unlocks"

For me it depends on the army, the kit and the map.
SpecOps I'll nearly always use the G36C - for some reason I find I am more accurate with it. However for night maps I'll use the SCAR-L or AKSU-74, with which I am far less accurate, but the sighting reticle is far better under those light conditions or through NVG.
(And for those who don't realise, it's a "projected dot reticle" not any form of laser; within the sight is an angled piece of glass that reflects a dot into the eye of the viewer, overlaying it on what they see through the sight. Like the HUD on a chopper or fighter aircraft)
For Engineer I'll use the Jackhammer instead of the pump-actions, but not the semi-auto.
For Medic I'll use the L85A1 for open maps but the G36E/M16/AK for city and CQB. Again because of reticle issues.
For Anti-tank I'll use the P90 for open maps but the DAO12 for city and CQB.
For Assault I'll use the G3 or F2000, or SCAR-H on night maps.
For Sniper I'll use the L96A1 if I can, but for Sharqi and Iron Gator I'll use the M95, closer ranges = bigger heads, and both those maps suffer from "Chopper Persistence Syndrome" for which a good dose of M95 can provide temporary relief.

I only use unlocks in SF to make up for some of the gay ass british guns.
i used to always use them, but now i use alot of stock, except as sniper i use L96, and AT i use P90
I Absolutely use unlocks. But not all the time. If im MEC Medic, its the AK. For US its *currently* L85. Most spec ops players use g36c. Most anti-tankers use DAO/P90. Assault, G3 and F2000 are great guns.

Im more of a Bolt Action man, even in CQC aim for the Neck if i hit you swich to pistol and finish, but mostly you die from my head shot, not that im braging becuase i started out as a noob sniper and im only just leveling my kd now. but dam its fun pwning noobs from south base to arty island.
But it is possible to get a full auto sniper, the PKM! Dam its fun sniping other snipers with that my fav time was sniping with it on the bunker at the beach > south Base....

Yeah, i just like them better:
Support: PKM is the most accurate one for me, and it does the most damage
Engineer: Jackhammer IMO is the best shotgun in the game, so of course i'll use it
Assault: You can't go wrong with the F2000
Medic: G36E FTW, yeah, easy kills, but that's what this game is about, killing people, so i'm gonna use the one that's best for this class

Then again, it is sometimes nice to go back and use the AK 101 or the MEC's engineer gun, (not sure what it's called) for shits and giggles. The unlocks have an advantage in firepower and accuracy, but sometimes it's not about that... it is about functionality, where a certain weapon suits the job. I personally prefer the stock US shotty to the Jackhammer... just a preference.

lol sup dio, yea the s12k does own along with the good ol m11-87, i hate the jackhammer, but i have to disagree with you saying that the unlocks have an advantage in firepower and accuracy. that is sometimes true but not all the time so you cant really make a generalization on them like that, big boy.
