I was playing Karkand yesterday, joined a squad, respawned at my squad leader to find him on top of the Hotel Roof. Does anyone know how he did this....
Was FF off? he was probably spec ops and c4ed himself up there.
if it was a server with ff off then he just c4 jumped up there

If the Commander drops a supply crate at the right spot, you can jump on it from the other roof, and then just barely make it to the rooftop...No C4, no wall hack, and IMHO...perfectly legal.
With a supply crate u can only get on the roof near to the hotel, not on the hotel roof itself...Capt.CupoNoodles wrote:

If friendly fire is off he could've c4'd himself up there. Or maybe he found a ladder or took the stairs. Most hotels have stairs incase the elevator stops working or if there's a fire emergency. The only other possibility I can think of is if he
When FF is on, you can still reach a lot of those places, while playing fair. Although the roof of the hotel itself isn't one of them. The buildings adjacent to it are.

FF off + C4 = Shit-ton 'o Fun.

Ok here's the trick! You have to get at least three people on your squad to get on each others shoulds so you can climb them to get to the roof. It's very tricky and requires some practice but I'm sure you'll be able to do it. Good Luck! LOL
