Honestly thanks to FilePlanet letting in their loyal subscribers in there are a lot of people in the Beta who are just treating it as a free game. The point of a Beta is to identify the bugs and glitches and noify the DICE team so they can fix them.
An open Beta is a bad idea as far as marketing is concerned too as ther will be those who get the Beta and discover that, (of course,) things are laggy and buggy. Those people will run off to gaming forums to register their disgust and remark on another EA hasty release with numerous patches. They simply don't realise the point of a Beta. There are a few of those in already, it'll be 100 times worse if it's a complete open Beta.
My point is, the Beta is not just a free game. Nothing against you personaly Hitman, but if they simply open it up to everyone who has played BF2 there will be a shit-load of smacktards getting in to see what they can exploit.
Wait for the Demo I reckon. It'll be optimised by then, so the gameplay will be better anyway.
It's funny you say that. It's incredibly easy to glitch into walls in 2142 and whenever it happens, people always get all hissy about you doing it because it's "ruining the game".
Granted, I did kill some people while I was inside a building, but I was really just testing how long I could stay in there, if I could shoot out, and...if...yeah, whatever, 2142 is awesome.
