Assault I am growing very attached to the G3, It's a damn good gun. The only problem I have with it is you better have a supply crate near by. Good accuracy and damage.
I can deal with the non-unlocks but I usually play with them...

If I am playing as China I will use the m95 as I dont care for the stock sniper rifle. I use the MG36 and Scar-L as well but thats it as far as unlocks.
I mix it up. The only weapons I never use are the MG36, F2000, and SCAR-L. Actually, as of now all my 2nd tier unlocks are shit. My favorite has gotta be the L85. And as far as the M95 goes, I'd take the SVD/Type 88 over it ANY day. Shooting one pilot out of his chopper isn't worth missing every other shot in the round IMHO.
I only use latest unlocks. They're like new toys, as soon as I get them, I forget my old ones.

Anti-Tank - Usually use the DAO, sometimes I use the Bizon. Never the other two.
Assault - Usually just G3 for SAS because the F2000 is trash.
Engineer - Don't have any engie unlocks.
Spec-Ops - Always replace M4 with an unlock, I keep the AK-74U if I'm going to be doing some CQC. QBZ-97 is a beast.
Sniper - L96 in vanilla, usually none in SF (yes I use the Dragunov)
Medic - All depends. Every team's stock medic gun owns, but so do both of the unlocks. Totally depends.
Support - PKM over stock except on SAS, MG36 rules (haven't got it unlocked for vanilla yet)

True about the competitive players in TWL or CAL, but killing sum1 with a stock gun takes more skill IMO. Especially when talking about the G36E or PKM, its point and click. My new love is the M16. Single shot, no matter what stance, its hella accurate. I love headshotting snipers at 150+ meters with it.

The skill is to know in which situations the stock weapon is better than the unlock. All unlocks have some differences with the stock gun that make them better in some situations but worse in other.

No unlocks for me except the L96A1 for Sniper kit. Main reason is that i play competitively with my clan.

well. ive got all the unlocks apart from the scar-l and f2000, which from playin SF, i hate, and apparently the Scar-l is basically a ak74su, which is ok, but i prefer the g36c. i used to love the l96a1, however recently, ive got used to the accuracy of the m95, and so use that more, the pkm also, good for improvin k/d ratio. if im mec/pla, i always use the 47/101, i just seem to kill more using them.also, i really suck with shotguns, dont know why, so i always use the p90, tho the mec stock gun is quite good, just the iron sights suck on that gun

I play with unlocks because I like a variety of weapons.Although I do play TWL so I play with the stock weapons a lot. A lot of the stock guns are really good, but for kits like AT, I need to use the unlocks (DAO FTW) because the stock guns suck.
I don't have all the unlocks yet, but I usually use them. I always take the G3 over the M16, but I take the 101 over the G3 because of the GL. The L85 is nice, but the G36E is nicer in the city maps, and mostly play those. It's a toss up between an AK and any unlock, the AK's are so good. I use the PKM for support, it's a great gun.
