Another perfect example of how the SEARCH function could've saved a waste of a thread. But considering the responses thus far...I'm guessing you already know this was a waste. K/P servers are allowed to continue because nobody fucking cares. Play 'em if you want...they're a blast. Or don't play 'em. Either way it'll be the same result...no one cares.

No one cares if you got your knife and pistol badge legit they just care if you got it, these servers exist because people thought it would be too hard to get the badges the normal way.
is it that big of a deal, so what if people want to play KP, it's fun, does it make people mad that others are playing them? it's their game, let them do what they want.
I don't necesarily think that knife and pistol servers are good (I'd rather get my badges legit instead of having to "Cheat" in a way to get an immage on my profile)

Hey, I have probably 100 hours in this game and I don't want to have taken away because I'm assumed to be some kind of hack/cheater. Not that it makes any big difference, but I feel like if I were wiped I'd be considered a cheater, and that's the real issue.
I don't want to be looked at as someone without character, by anyone, for anything.

I actually find them to be alot of fun...thats if someones not trying to use the ak-101 or whore the apc.

EA is actually PROMOTING K/P servers. Why do you think they instituted "dogtags" for knifing someone in 2142? I can see the "24/7 Knife Server Only" in 2142, just to get dogtags.
