SF grathics

I am having a problem running bf2 sf on high grathics. I don't get why I could run bf2 on high but I can't run sf on high and the map lags is it just bugs or my video card my system specs are.

Windows 64x, Antec preformance series, 500 watt antec smart power, MSI 6800, 4x512 Corsair XMS PC3200 DDR400, AMD 64 X2 4400+ @ 2.50ghz, DFI Lan party UT Ultra-D, 80Gb SATA western digitial hd, 160GB IDE western digital HD, Mad dog dvd burner, Memorex CD burner

The expansions system requirements are higher than the original game. It states in the manual that a 7-series graphics card is recommended for the higher settings, so I would upgrade your graphics card if it's that important. Otherwise just drop the settings down for better performance. I play on low and I'm happy.

Follow up question: If you can run high graphics fine in single player, shouldn't you be fine in multi as well? I used to run high in BF2 as well, but this new expansion is giving me hell becasue it seems choppy and it's slow to connect...I'm guessing my problems are more related to something with my internet connection than my card, as my choppyness resembles lag/packet loss chop, and not slow graphics card chop (ie, me zipping back and forth 3 or 4 steps sometimes, etc)

I'm gonna create a new topic about the packet loss, since I don't see why that could be....

i'm running an x850 xt and I can no longer run it at a high level. I have to drop my screen res down to 1024x768 to get decent performance. It's annoying.
