i like steam...but i dont have a credit card and my parents wont lemme use it..
steam is way better no competition between the two.
EA downloader is shit compared to Steam
I like steam... but nothing pissed me off more than buyind HL2 Episode 1 and not being able to play it because I HAD to download patch/update first. I was on crappy dial up when I got it so it took me a day or two to be able to play the game I purchased at the store.
I'd rather play a buggy BF2 and wait for patch, than have to patch before play.
And besides, when was the last time you opened up steam and it didn't take a few mins of updating the app, updating the game, etc etc. And most updates are "Fixed bug where if player pressed shift+alt+cntrl+escape+*safkjh and then turned the monitor upside-down, they would see a weird deformation on the top left corner". I want to play when I want to play.

But as EA own Steam, why don't they just use it for all their games?? Steam is much better then the crock of shit EA downloader. The constant update thing is kind of annoying, but atleast their updates work...
Steam its self is buggy but valve release dam good games.
