So im playing Surge on SF and im playing with my squad and taking control points untill i die. I then respawn at the command center and see our tank sitting there. Needless to say i hopped down and jumped into it and then i see c4 being thrown at me from my own team mate who than blows me up. After a few WTFs he responds, "tanks are cheap for pussys with no skill." Now is it just me or were tanks put into the game to be used? And this was a first, team killing not to take the tank, but to stop someone from using it. Now ive heard all sides of tank whoring, but on an outdoor map can you really consider it that? all you need is 2 anti tankers hiding somewhere to take down a tank which is especially easy outdoors. Damn, the nerve of some people...

Yea i was a little pissed and just had to have some pay back so i spawn again grab the new tank and sent a shell right into his grill piece, of course i was then auto kicked for team killing, but it felt good. Even though it was pretty pathetic of me lol

i like being in a tank and going head to head with other armour units, it takes a fair bit of skill really, like knowing where to hit weak spots, popping smoke to evade and manuever and radical moves to 'try' to evade attacks from above. however, i also like very much mowing down hapless infantry......unfair u say? too bad, thats what armour units were created for. battleground supremeacy!

i got a another reason to call someone a tankwhore...like i,m sniping on the ground and the tank is close to me and shoots behind me and evertime my screen just fucks up and that beeeeping sounds...who the fuck is that tankwhore...i look...SHIT its the commander....so i ask nicely Can u move away ur are messing with my sight....he said : Fuck off i,m the commander....

I suppose I'm vaguely a tank whore...I use armor when it's there because it's excellent body armor. :-) Moreover, if I find soft targets, it's darn nice. I'm fairly good with tank-to-tank combat and I think I help my team. That said, I'm more than happy to be a grunt, too. Heck I've even learned to love the grenade launcher, but I tend to use it at range instead of at two feet (might have something to do with regularly missing).
Anyone who C4s you for helping the team should be kicked by an admin, but I've seen some amazing admin kick lately, including kicking me for responding to profanity with logic, reason, and snideness, but never rude or profane responses...lol
