i have been trying to get my basic engineer and anti-tank badges and i cant, i am 99% sure i have fullfilled the requirements. can anybody give me some advice please, +1 karma for any GOOD ADVICE.
I think the information that you are missing is that you need to get 10 kills IN A ROUND (IAR) for each of these badges ... since you only have 21 kills in total with the engineer kit, I doubt you have gotten 10 kills in a round while an engineer.Sh4d0wF0x14 wrote:

IF you don't worry about your badges/rank/ribbons/medals; you'll actually have more fun.
Yeah, I was going to say something like "pick the kit, kill ten guys: bingo!" but I was then going to go on to suggest something actually useful!
So, seriously, if you have trouble doing this with the weapons (shotguns aren't cake for a lot of people and the MP5 is pretty weak) then do it in a tank/APC, or choose the kit when commanding. The artillery kills will give you the combat badge if you get enough of them.

I can understand wanting to work for a badge or medal but I also agree with imdead, when just playing for the fun. Although, if you can have both words...like when I got my support medal, it has kinda a nice rush. Just to know i was trying to do my job in the squad and get awarded for it.
agreed, just makes it more stressful when your going for medals and badges and yes of course ribbonsimdead wrote:

I've gotten all my badges/medals without trying for them. The knife I confess I tried but I always pulled the gun out. I rarely look at my stats, only when someone says something about it, which is hardly ever. I couldn't tell you what I have even.
@ OP
you got an awful lotta pistol kills there boy.
sommat you wanna tell us?

Engineer: It's easiest to get in a vehicle (tank, APC, or Helo) or command (actually this applies to pretty much all classes, but it's really good for Engineers)
Anti-Tank: For me, I got veteran on 32 Dragon Valley (no jets, fewer points to worry about), so basic should work here as well. Be PLA and spawn at the Hill Village point. Defend the position with all you've got. Between the TOW turret and your ERYX, you should be fine. If a chopper starts harassing you, there's an AA near the flag. Be a squad leader so you can call a supply drop if needed. As long as the Woodyard and the southern points are still under control, you don't need to watch your back much. The APC(s) and the Tank(s) get bottlenecked right near the north bridge. They're going to move pretty slow because of the bridge and the terrain, or busy trying to bypass if avoiding the bridge. You'll be attacking from higher ground -- easy targets.
