hi

i am having problems with getting my next rank (first sergant) i have all the requirments that UBAR refers to and i have not been promoted, it is starting to annoy me nnow so if anyone could offer a helping hand it would be great

you have your 20,000 points dont you.. i can smell the noob aroma in the air, read Ubar please, it says... if you are ranked up and you do not have the badges, ribbons, medals, or what ever you need, then you will not proceed to that rank, you have to wait untill you get 50,000 points and rank up again, and make sure that time you have all the needed badges to rank up or you will be once again stuck with the lower ranking.

Nevermind, I looked you up on the BF2S tracker.  Well, my friend I'm afraid I have some bad news for you.  You are not going to be promoted from Master Sergeant to First Sergeant.  In order to get the rank of First Sergeant, you MUST obtain the required badges BEFORE you get to 20,000 points.  After that, you're a Master Sergeant till you hit 50,000 points.  This does not mean that you cannot be a Sergeant Major.  The two promotion tiers are independent.  Getting one or not getting one has no bearing on getting one on the next tier.  You do have the badges required for Sgt. Major, so once you hit 50,000 that's what you will get.  But, again, you will not be promoted to First Sergeant.  This is not a bug, this is how those ranks were meant to work.
