get xfire. If you can use teamspeak... you should be able to use your mic in bf2.
teamspeak is used all the time with bf2... you are ok to use it.
So are you saying that you can use your mic in only one program at a time? if that is the case then it most likely because of your sound card. With some sound cards you can only use your mic in one program. New drivers might fix the problem but they dont for some. Try downloading your newest sound drivers to see if it helps you.

BF2 has a bug!!!!!!! My mic always goes out when i try to talk to my squad. I can always talk to the commander though. And teamspeak always works when i talk to my friends. Just cant talk to fellow squad members. It sucks.
