Chapter 1; Setting the stage.
War is at hand.
The gears are set in motion.
The dice are rolling.
In the year 2040, the Middle Eastern countries unite under one name; MEC, The Middle Eastern Coalition.
Their target; to destroy all that oppose their Holy Quran, the Word of Mohammed the Prophet, to defend them from the still lurking danger that is brought by an even more aggressive United States of America.
America recognises the threat by the MEC, and starts to rearm it's forces.
The MEC has become a force that even the United States fear over the years. Rich sultans, and oil moguls unite and allow their countries to buy massive amounts of hardware, mainly out of Russia.
In no more than 9 months the old armies are replaced by well equipped squads, consisting of high-tech tanks like the Russian T90S and BTR-90. Their airforces are upgraded, both pilots and air-planes are trained to the limit.
In 2041 the MEC forces invade the country of Israel and add the Palestine's to their coalition forces.
The Middle-East has become an Islamic region, stretching from the country of Morocco near the Atlantic Ocean, all the way to Indonesia.
The year is 2042.
The world is at war. The United States Marine Corps has launched an attack against a forward positioned MEC base near the Persian Gulf. And hours later, Marine units land on the Beaches of Oman and Sharqi.
The MEC forces fight desperately to stop the US invaders, but after another landing at Zatar, all their hope is drained, and they reposition themselves near the cities of Karkand, Mashtuur the main strongholds. of the MEC coalition.
The United States however, detect large PLA movement, and satellite images reveal that the PLA are massing their forces, to what cause is unknown. But the United States send out their Pacific fleet to counter the PLA threat.
Meanwhile back in the Middle-East, the USMC attempt to tale the Kubra dam area as a forward resupply position for their final attacks on the cities of Karkand and Mashtuur to prevent their supply-lines from stretching thin.
The USMC manages to acquire the Kubra area and now faces the difficult task of taking the cities of Karkand and Mashtuur.
But they fail, the MEC forces rally together and launch an attack of unknown size against their aggressors and they manage to push the USMC back to their landing area's of Oman, Sharqi and Zatar.
Before the loses at Karkand and Mashtuur the pacific fleet had reached the shores of China, and launched a massive attack against five key industrial locations.
Various strike forces were created, each with it's own unique target. Alpha force launched several attacks against the Dalian Nuclear power plant and the Fushe dam area, Beta force attacked the Daqing oil-fields. Charlie force was tasked with the destruction of the PLA main fuel storage's in the Dragon Valley.
The largest planed operation of the USMC to invade inland China becomes a nightmare of Vietnam proportions.
While the US is stretched thin, the PLA masses more and more forces near the city-region of Songhua.
There was only one position the USMC can take to cross this swamp area with all their hardware, and the PLA intelligence managed acquiring this information through moles in the Pentagon. Before the USMC noticed what was happening it was already too late.
At the end of 2042, at a turning point in the war. The PLA launches a massive strike against Wake Island, thus destroying the USMC's supply lines. After 3 months the PLA has eradicated most off the US forces on it's mainland, while pockets off resistance remain, unable to withdraw due to the destruction of wake Island.
