Ok I'm 20 points away from a new rank....but I need those ridiculous 7 IAR knife kills

Anybody got any pointers on this? I have a hard time whacking people with the knife, and I was wondering how some of you guys around here may have gotten your knife kills (or what you think is the easiest way to get it)

I'm not a stat padder (except for the whole medic revive thing) but I really want this new rank....it took a while to get to 20,000 yknow?

Hm..... go into a 16 player server on a 64 Karkand map, and just use the knife, if you can't get 7 kills IAR that way.... you'd fail

Edit: one tip, if your on MEC and they don't cap the Hotel for awhile, just go to the Hill spawn point and rape them with your knife, i got my vet that way

Do a search, there are numerous guides (some are really good) on how to get them.

Good luck and keep trying, when you do get it, you'll feel pretty good and realise that it wasn't so hard after all.

Uh, yeah, you really shouldve worried about that earlier than now. You basically have two rounds to try and get 7 knife kills.

Go medic and be sneaky. Hide around corners, spawn camp, do whatever. Or, be a sniper and do it...sometimes people hesitate when they see a sniper because they're not entirely sure what team he's on.

Well, you could do a Knife and Pistol server......if that's your thing. Best way to play in a regular server would probably be to play Warlord, Iron Gator, or Karkand...and just be a sneaky sucker.

Get the badge before you rank up. Go into unranked knife pistol servers and practice. Dont go into ranked knife pistol server unless you want to one day wake up and find your stats reset...

Yeah I know I waited a while to do it but...it won't hold up any points for the next rank or anything if I don't do it before I hit 20,000

I got mine on devils perch stabbing people in the dark... Although spawn camping with a knife is probably an easier way to do it.

Go into a 64 size server with only a few playing, wait for flags to go neut where u know there is a small building for them to hide in and then sneak up, easiest way....

P.S. make sure to get like a Colonel when doing so....omfg they get mad when they get knifed, then u will get called a hacker and a knife badge all in one game

20 points away ... you basically have to do this in the next couple of rounds you play OR you have do a marathon on the same server without logging off or it crashing.

The chances are somewhere around 1 in a gazillion of getting this legitimately.

That's probably the best suggestion yet in your position. You need to get some major -ve points to give you some breathing room to get the 7 IAR.

Go Karkand 64 player map with plenty of people in it and it just gets so crowded you can't really fail.

If you see someone and they see you, DO NOT PULL OUR YOUR RIFLE and try to kill them. Because, if you do that, you'll obviously only have 18 points to get the badge in. If you're close enough just sprint and stab, it might work. Do not heal, repair, revive, resupply, assist in killing, capturing flags, assisting a flag capture, etc, etc. YOU WANT THAT KNIFE BADGE, now go and get it.

find a big sniper map in SF. Warlord or Ghost Town should do. Zip and grapple your way to the snipers back door, and take them down.
