im desperate.
i start to instal the patch, and everything is great.
then about 5 minutes into where it says "Patching...."
a little box comes up and says RTPatch Executable has encountered a problem and needs to close"
it says there is an inpage error with P1:c0000015  and P2:00000003
i press dont send error report
then a very small box appears and says"patching failed"
then i see another box that says it has been completed succesfully!
i have no clue whats going on.
i tried this 5 times w/ same results.

Have you tried restarting your computer first and then trying the patch?  Where did you download this patch from?

Uninstall BF2, Clean up your hard drive (delete unnecessary files, defrag, etc.), reinstall BF2, and reinstall patch. You may want to re-download  1.12 if you still have problem. Pain in the arss, but it might help. Good Luck!

This is probably the best way to fix the problem. When I d/l the patch, I kept getting a "Can't find BF2 install folder" and it kept shutting down. Uninstalled and started from scratch and it worked fine.
