did this for the first time this morning and some quick googling told me the number on the left is your current fsp, while the one on the right is your average?

1. is that right?
2. the left hovered around 90, jumped between 80-99.9 while flying a f35 from the carrier to the other side of dragon valley, and my rig is decent but not great. The right number was around 15, never varrying much.

These numbers all seem a little funny to me on

1gig of ram, 7900gt, 74gb raptor, x2 3800+

i'll download and use fraps tonight, but can someone tell me what numbers i should be expecting? or are the current ones correct

Fraps would lower your fps even more, sounds like a RAM problem, mabie upgrade to 2gigs?

I think you mean renderer.drawfps .... right?

You are correct about the first number, but the second number is the time in milliseconds between frames.  (Here's a reference for you.)

Yep ... and, if I recall, the human brain doesn't really process more than 40-50 fps, so everything about that is just something for you computer to brag about.
