Hey
my problem keeps messing my life..

I have the following :
Geforce 6800GT256 - using 81.94 drivers.
the newest BF2 patch.

when I "print screen" for screenshot, all I get is an empty black .png and .jpg accordingly.
I reinstalled, repatched, practically everything. I think I'm doing something wrong.

PUH-LEASE help a fella'

I just got the 6600GT 128mb DDR3. i had problems with the 81.xx drivers so I went back to the 77.77 ones and everything works ok now. Hope this helps unless you were able to take screenshots before, with your card.

anbody here using the 81.xx without the black screen thingy ?
I'm sure there are plenty.. otherwise we would read of this more often..

so, to all using the drivers above - have you experienced the black screenshot ?

I have a 6800gt 256 that is over clocked. I haven't used the ingame function to capture a screanshot in months. I always use fraps. You should try it out since the standard version is free.

I have a different video card but I have the same problem when trying to take a screenshot of anything playing in the Media Center player. In the game it works, however.

Sorry I cant help, but I would be interested in seeing any solutions as well.

BurlySmurf - what drivers are you using ? the 81.xx ?
if so, can you try to take a screenshot from the game itself ?

Well, I just installed Fraps (they have a new 64bit video stream capabilities now !). works like a charm.

THANK YOU FOR SOLVING A MAJOR HEAD ACHE FOR ME.
