hey this is my first post although i have been around theese forums for months i had trouble signing up .

yes i have done a search but it does not answer my question

i resently had my thrustmaster afterburner 2 joystick broken by my dog lol, it was a very good joystick, very well placed buttons ect but i want to know what else is on the market. I hear that the logictech 3D pro is good but it doesn't look that comfortable. All advice and opinions are wellcome but please dont just post things like . LOGICTEC FTW, its pointless.

thankyou.

Logitech 3D Extreme Pro
Very good joystick, especially for making people whine by owning them in the j10 with it

You dont need one i own with the m/kb combo you cant beat em.
You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.

Go with a Saitek. My Saitek Cyborg Evo has already gone three times longer (a year now) than any of my three previous Logitech sticks.

Its actually very comfortable. So much so that I didn't heed the warning that I recieved about Logitechs sticks being built like crap.
I've had mine for 2, maybe 3, months and it is already giving me problems with the return spring. And I'm waiting for the calibration to crap out too as I hear their stick are notorious for.
Saitek will be my next stick when this one craps out for good, which at this rate won't be long.
x52 is probably what I'll be going with.

Depends...
It all depends on how you like yourn joystick.
Do you like it to be comfortable? yes easy to use?
Then go for the CYBORG EVO
If you want a more expensive joystick with less buttons and a slower fire trigger, go for the 3D PRO.
Although the 3D pro has a better AXIS, the CYBORG beats it for everything else.

i read alot of amazon reviews and they all say that the logitec 3D pro keeps breaking and losses calibration.

some say that the cyborg evo's speed thingy mmm whats its name, acceleration rudder thingy, is in a really difficult place to reach and that half the buttons are on hte other side of the stick which are hard to reach.

my old top gun afterburner 2 was perfectly molded to my hand and i could reach all buttons easly. i also loved the throttle (thats what its called!! lmao) and i dont know what the flappy tap like ones are like ( which are on both the joysticks you all talk about). I dont think i can get another one of my afterburner and i would like to try something new on the market now anyway ( though i hope i dont regret it). But i keep hearing bad things about both the 3D pro and the Cborg Evo.

so can someone advice me further other then saying a sentence ?.

i find it strange that zimmer92 says the 3D pro has a better axis, because i have read so many reviews on how it loss calibration with in a few months and people are constantly replacing it and it doesn't come with any software...

thx for all advice so far.

i would also like to know while i can only post on my own topic and no one elses :S, i tryed earlyer and it said i didn't ahve permision to post lol
