I played this last night for several hours and all I can say is WOW. Everything is more lethal and balanced against each other, tanks have Sabot and HEAT rounds, APC's have player guided missiles, (think weak TV missile that goes 450 meters) Infantry weapons are much improved, AA guns take some skill but are VERY powerful, choppers are uber, and jets are very good. The best thing is, the sides aren't mirror balanced.
The maps are very very well done too. While most of them are big (there are some inf maps, and one pure infantry) they aren't too big and games don't turn into a flag capping circle. Combine that with plenty of places to hide and you have maps that blow BF2's out of the water. Oh, did I mention that they have frontline and objective mode too?
The file is slightly over 1.1 gigs but is well worth the download. I'll see you all in Ukraine
