I think EA were rite to include it in the city maps because it does help with aiming, as the m-16 has no scope its hard to aim but the laser sight allows you to see more clearer where your bullets are going. I always switch it on.

The M-16 doesn't have a laser sight. The M4 has a red dot sight but not a laser sight.

No the medics rifle and the assaults rifle, in mashtur, karkland and sharqi. The M4 is spec ops and it has red dot sight not the laser.

Anyway. No gun has "lasers" The only thing that comes remotely close to using a "laser" is the M4 and AK-74U's red dot scope.
And yes, when you are aiming down the sights, you do have a better accuracy.

I think you're talking about Americas Army. Fitting an ACOG red-point scope on your SOPMOD weapon in close-quarter battles can give you a better feel and orientation as opposed to the ACOG 4x or the iron-sights. At least that's what I think you're talking about- I'm not aware that you can modify any guns scope/rail set-up in BF2.
