This is pissing me off.. I try instaling Battlefield 2 on my OWN computer and when i do, i double click on the BF2 icon and it loads to a scrren that says [ Battlefield 2 ] than it goes black like if it were to start but it just goes black than goes right back to my windows. AARRGGG i need some help here!

sometimes mine does that for two or three clicks then it just loads like normal.....iv gotten used to it now.

A friend of mine had the simulair problem.
His vid.card wasnt meeting the reqs.
I suggest you check on your vid.card.

iv got 6800gt and two gig of ram so thats not the prob for me.

Same specs as the_heart_attack, and even after a reinstall, it still takes a whole heap of clicks to get it going... I have to say though, checking resources used, you can click the icon as many times as you want to get it going, only one game will load, not multiple games as an EA tech suggested. ... In other words, if the first click doesn't work, click several times till it does finally load... works for me.

yeah, BF2 seems to be pretty unstable.

mine crashes randomly. sometimes when i first click it, sometimes when im loading a map, sometimes when im in the game...its very temperamental.

it just makes the game that much more enjoyable when it finally does load
