But why not try this:
First of all, get rid of that ugly white border you have.
Make it 1px black
Then, get rid of that HUGE stroke on the renders.
Make it smaller, or dont have one at all.
3rd, lower the opacity on the scanlines
Then, get rid of the black line high-lighting your text, and make your text stand out a bit LESS.
5th, lower the opacity on the 2142 render so it looks like it is in between the other render.
And finally, please make the background a bit more interesting, the red is wat too plain
